We're working with a retail client with offices in Greater London. We're looking for a Brand Controller to join their busy team. Reporting into the Retail and Marketing Director you will have a team of 4 direct reports. Ideally you will come from a retail background or worked agency side but looked after retailers as your principal client. If you have experience in convenience / food / supermarkets retail this will be a huge bonus.
The role will include:
Building a deep understanding of the strategy and plan, to enable better decision making within own team and department
Work with the Media Partnership team to deliver the national media income target through supplier-funded marketing assets, for the benefit of the marketing budget
Identify market and technological developments that drive and enhance brand objectives
A key part of the role is the responsibility for managing the team across Media, Customer Relations, and Digital functions.
There is Financial Responsibility for the delivery and management of agreed budgets within spend limitations.
You will be working a hybrid role (2 to 3 days in the office) with flexibility required as and when required. They are based West / North West Greater London. The salary is circa £70k with some flexibility, plus car allowance and bonus and benefits. This is not for someone stepping up from a Brand Manager role or moving from FMCG to retail!
