Better placed is delighted to be working with one of the UKs most exciting scale-ups in their search for a Head of Analytics & Data Insights. The role is a key hire and the successful candidate will take responsibility for the overall structure and integrity of their Data.

My client is a subscription brand founded in 2020 and launched to to rave reviews and awards from Vogue, GQ, Esquire, and Harper’s BAZAAR.

They are well on their way to becoming a household name. The product is plastic-free, vegan and the business is working towards a B-Corp accreditation.

This role will suit an experienced leader who thrives in a high growth, fast paced ecommerce environment, someone who loves to bring data to life and tell a story to both technical and none technical stakeholders.

The role:

Take ownership of the building and visualisation of the customer database, driving it to meet the strategic needs of the business and advance understanding of customer behaviours, marketing, product and territory performance.

Top line pillars of responsibility:

· Complex and bespoke analysis of marketing performance

· Detailed bespoke analysis on customer behaviours, trends and patterns

· Delivery of data for CRM selections (both journeys and campaign)

· Bringing together disparate data sources to build a complete view of the business

· Owning overarching BI reporting

· Embarking on the journey of building a motivated, qualified and happy Insight Team

The person

· Proven experience working closely with an SLT to plan the build and structure of an Insights · Team, ideally in a fast paced ecommerce environment

· storyteller who enjoys bringing complex data to life

· Advanced SQL skills with Python / R

· Confident using BI tools (Tableau/PowerBI) to build reporting

· Proven experience building full funnel marketing to website datasets

· Experience in a subscription based business is desirable
