My client is a well established eCommerce brand utilised by 1.7m daily. They offer a wide range of benefits including private healthcare, hybrid working – 2 days per week in the office, flexible hours and a tailored PDP and career plan.

As part of their continued growth they’re seeking to bring in a QA Test Engineer to ensure products work perfectly before global launches.

The Role

• Perform thorough testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across Shopify storefronts.

• Execute test cases and scenarios to identify and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.

• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers/owners to ensure alignment on requirements and expectations.

• Conduct testing across various browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and responsiveness is matched.

• Document test results, issues, and resolutions accurately and comprehensively.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices within the team.

About You

• 12months + experience in Quality Assurance testing, preferably in an e-commerce or Shopify environment

• Proficiency in testing methodologies, test case creation, and defect tracking.

• Familiarity with Shopify platform and its ecosystem, including themes, apps, and integrations.

• Experience with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate, and communicate issues effectively.

• Experience testing on multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.

• Experience with subscription platforms such as ReCharge or OrderGroove.

• Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

• Experience using AB testing software.
