The Role:
As part of the Category & In-Store Commercial Team, you’ll play a key role in translating category insights into action, developing best-in-class range, display, and distribution strategies, and fostering strong relationships with key grocery customers.
Lead the category vision and strategy, influencing both internally and externally
Develop and execute a point-of-purchase vision and plan for the category
Drive distribution, range, and display targets, ensuring optimal shelf presence
Work closely with customers to create joint category plans for brand and private label growth
Use data and insights to shape category strategies and commercial decision-making
Build strong customer partnerships and influence key stakeholders
Stay ahead of market trends, shopper behaviour, and competitive insights
Champion the in-store execution agenda by ensuring category principles are embedded at the point of purchase
You:
3-5 years’ experience in Category Management within FMCG
Experience working with major grocery retailers
Strong understanding of shopper, consumer, and customer dynamics across grocery, online, and convenience channels
Excellent stakeholder management skills – able to engage and influence at all levels
Passion for the retail environment, customer strategy, and category growth
Ability to turn complex data into compelling, insight-driven stories
A proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
