​Are you a detail-driven compliance professional with a passion for product safety and regulatory excellence? We’re looking for a Compliance Manager to ensure adherence to UK regulations and standards across a diverse product range. This is a key role where you’ll drive compliance with product safety, environmental, and consumer protection laws, proactively managing risk while fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.

As they continue to expand, they are looking for a Compliance Manager to help maintain and enhance their regulatory standards.

The Role:

You’ll be at the heart of ensuring compliance across packaging, labelling, testing, and risk assessments, while keeping up to date with legislative changes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure all products comply with UK regulations.

  • Monitor and implement legislative updates affecting consumer goods.

  • Maintain transparency regarding Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and plastic tax.

  • Proactively assess New Product Development (NPD) for compliance requirements and cost implications.

  • Oversee product packaging and labelling compliance.

  • Manage product testing processes and certification requirements.

  • Coordinate with accredited laboratories and oversee product manuals.

  • Maintain accurate compliance records for auditing purposes.

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.

  • Oversee product recalls and consumer safety communications.

  • Work with customer service to manage product issues and spare parts processes.

  • Develop and update internal compliance policies and procedures.

  • Conduct internal audits and prepare compliance status reports.

  • Oversee inbound quality checks and supplier audits.

 You:

  • 3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in consumer goods.

  • Strong knowledge of UK product safety laws and standards.

  • Experience in risk management, product testing, and compliance reporting.

  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

  • Certification in compliance or risk management (e.g., CCEP) – preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
